Hehe just woke up, this flip phone has maps and online banking. Lol all for 53$ so yeah I'm spending hours off my smartphone. Once I pay this smart phone off I can switch over to mint mobile and activate my flip phone. Woo

Are there any Linux flip phones? I've been watching the collective development of Pine Phone: I plan to switch once my phone's paid off. Plus, I just learned tonight that AT&T keeps all your records and is funding by White House grants to get information on your calls and likely texts without warrants. That's Unconstitutional.

@TheRedKnight: SwitchedToLinux mentioned it. He uses Mint Mobile and does ads for them 5G/mon on the Verizon network for 2 yrs after a 3 month intro price about $180. I pay that a month.

The smart phone is a bit of a necessity.... Maps rarely.... but looking up stock in shops their numbers, phone calls etc...

I also have a heap of recorded AA and other recordings, that are immensely helpful.

Zoom meetings can be good....

They are an immensely useful tool.

Yes the smartconsumer. Instead of a "smart"phone. Don't you have a desktop? What do you need an inferior laptop in phone form for?
Productive? For me it's the obvious product quality and absurd service prices. A smartphone bill is higher than monthly internet on a desktop lol!
For on the go entertainment I have simple mp3 player. For music and audiobooks. It's durable unlike a smartphone. I didn't need to buy an extra $100 rubber case for the mp3 player or my flipphone. They are sturdy so it's not necessary.
Also as a man I want to use my thumbs on a keypad. Not delicately caress my fingers on a touchscreen like a woman. Smartphones are ghey. They also malfunction as designed similar to modern gaming consoles. Killswitches set off right after the warranty expires. I do not buy $500 coffee makers with wireless internet either. I have a little filter basket with a plastic ring. My coffee maker never gets nasty because I can clean it 100% without disassembly. It's just a ring and a mesh basket.
People wasting their money on the dumbest trash consumer items these days.
Plus it would be nice if people stopped taking their phones everywhere. Leave it in the car or something. It's scary how people are glued to their phones. I may use earbuds and a mp3 player, but my sight/awareness is still 100% alert.
Finally a smartphone is a good filter for women. If she owns a smartphones she's a hoe. Good luck finding a woman who doesn't own one. Also a sign of a stupid consumer who doesn't understand finances and personal spending. Probably in debt just like you said. Noting against you bro. It's good news to hear someone is dropping the trash Chinaphone. A stupid invention. Why touchscreen? It's a pain to deal with compared to a keypad. If you need a PC on the go get a laptop I guess? What do you really need a portable PC for though? You're like little kids in the back seat on a road trip playing Gameboy.
Also the mobile games are garbage scam games as well. Good luck man. Watch your expenses plummet after dropping that trash product.

You're a terrible sheep.... I like that. I was required to have a smart phone to clock in. I was fired though: So now, I have to ride out the payment plan...

@WMHarrison94: That is insane gatekeeping. They want loyal smartphone zombie workers. I bet they were selling your data as well. Whenever someone asks for me to use a phone for something using a QR code. I tell them I'm too poor to afford to that type of overpriced device. Like an electric vehicle. Same with women because that triggers people :D Truly I'm not interested but the looks on people's face when I tell them I can't rent a girlfriend/wife to be my friend.

@WMHarrison94: So you don't have money saved up to pay that off immediately? I do. I never buy anything that requires a debt slavery loan. I'm a rare one in that sense, but somebody has to protest how everything is overpriced to benefit a small handful of suits.

@Toki: No. We were GPS locked in a small area where we could clock in for work online. They locked the computers so I could not use that anymore.

@Toki: I've been black balled.... I can not get a job worthy of my degrees, include STEM and a graduate one too. Soon, they are going to corrupt STEM to STEAM to add in arts because wahmen!

@WMHarrison94: Sounds like some Idiocracy military work then. Keep everything top secret while they pry into our personal lives endlessly.
