its false that the firefighters cannot fight the fire, it is that they do not want to use the proper chemical fire retardants in order to fight it.
and the gov. will not let local firefighters use that stuff like the foam stuff that is used to fight fires after problems with airplanes on the landing strips...

Kamloops got it bad but the whole country is burning. Oddly enough the smoke is hitting the Americans worse. Only had two days that were bad where I am. It got so bad where my kid lives that they couldn't see the lake 200m from their house.
