Grant's Success Story: John Sonmez Will Kick My ASS!

Grant decided to write to me to sharte his success story. As I've said before, I love when people write to me telling me how much their lives have changed by putting into practice what I teach here in this channel.

Grant has a very nice and great story and this is why I decided to share his story here on the channel.

Here is Grant's full email:
"Hi John,

I wanted to formally email you. My name is Grant - You recorded a video regarding one of my comments a few weeks ago.

I sincerely thank you for helping me out this past year. Your videos are helping me keep true to what I want in life.

Last year, at this time, I went to the hospital regarding severe depression and isolation. I did not have any friends (I do not have any right now) and I was ashamed to be in front of my family members. I didn't tell my parents this part: I also had a porn crutch (I would go in phases...)

Anyway, since then, I have really kept up with every video regarding the "bulldog mindset." When you renamed your channel to bulldog mindset, I started to jump around the room.

Before I leave for my freshman year of college in a week, I thought I would email you and tell you just how much I admire you and your mission. Even though I do not agree with you on every single subject you address, I always wanted to be like you.

Besides getting out of a state of depression, I have started to understand how taking ownership for my life and living by seemingly corny statements have helped me stay true to my mission.

This past summer: I got a cybersecurity-related, full-time internship, was running 55 plus miles a week for ten weeks straight during the spring (I had to tone it down due to extremely hot weather), took ownership for my actions, and am ready to finally leave for college. This past week: I asked a girl on a date for the first time in my life... I had never even said a word to a girl throughout my high school years. I started working on a cybersecurity website addressing the student's perspective on I.T. security. last November when I started listening to you.

John, you are seriously the man...

One day, maybe... You can interview me and I will claim just how much your methods really work even at the age of fifteen when I started listening to you... and eighteen when I started acting on what you were saying.

I always tell myself, "John Sonmez would be seriously kicking my ass right now if he found out I was wasting my time with this..."
