My concern is not p0rn being available; my concern would be legitmate s3x crimes continuing to be hosted; both the "struggle snuggle" and the underaged stuff.
The "Slippery Slope" of an ID requirement will be when the 'requirement' moves from p0rn to other content that "some viewers may find objectionable" which will eventually include political discouse and facts that people do not like to admit; like there being a biological difference between the sexes of male and female.
"Think of the Children!" is a meme, for a reason, it is far easier to gain false consensus using emotional appeals and then push any ridiculus agenda through.
