Foregiveness is one of these things.

To forgive or not to forgive - it's up to you isn't it.

There are different reasons, issues and circumstances.

Sometimes the ideas are righteous, either way, sometimes the moral philosophy is a good way, some times it's buying into someone else's new age let them off the hook bullshit, and some times staying away and other times seeking revenge is also appropriate.

And some people - if they have no moral principles, and make no demonstration of remorse beyond lip service, they deserve fucking nothing - because they are no the least bit sorry and words are cheap.

If someone was to hunt down and kill my own mother or strangle her in a fight - "Mehhh - it's in the natural course of events".

She has been in there doing her evil mind fuck head games, and smashed someones "Go Nuclear" button with a base ball bat, 100 times in the last 6 weeks - too bad for her.
