I picture Hammerhand as the Santa Claus from Futurama.

Short version: "men aren't doing enough to overcome the unnecessary obstacles we're putting in their path!" Dealt with this more times than I care to recall. Once men see the pattern--women creating problems just to see how men cope with them--we realize that they're more interested in wasting time and resources than seeking a viable partner. Women can gripe all day long that "alone and broke men are dangerous"; just have the integrity to acknowledge they're alone and broke because you exhausted our resources making us jump thru unnecessary hoops.
