Continuous rainfall for several hours has led to severe flooding in the streets of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Many roads were turned into rivers with cars slowly floating through the waters.
Dhaka’s infrastructural shortcomings, including the lack of an efficient drainage system and the occupation of canals, ponds, and reservoirs by various construction projects have left its residents struggling during the monsoon season.

Damn... guess bicycles pay off- elevated out of the water and not electrical where it would short out. All I keep thinking of is what diseases and animals like worms, leeches, etc. are spreading... Guess it pays to live on the hills...
