Copters don't usually just fall out of the sky. That thing came apart so had to hit something. I fly in copters often and close calls with drones are increasing. Mechanical issues tend to show themselves before even taking off and copter pilots are famous for being pedantic about such things. Unlike planes, these things are super sensitive so even a tiny bit of bad wrenching can make it feel like the whole thing is going to disintegrate before take-off. Unfortunately we still can't dismiss the possibility that everyone DEId because of the times we are in.
