To the point, "All men are prey", in the world of Praying Mantis, during sex there is a 30% chance that the female will devour the male. Therefore, it may be that "All females are not like that", but "All females are female", and the question becomes, "are you liking your odds" at 1 in 3 for the Mantis or 1 in 2 for a man? (Current divorce rate of first-time marriages)
