Here are the praises that Benito Mussolini, the Duce of Fascism, Received from Communists

Communists love to pose as antifascists and accuse anti-communists of being fascists, but little do they know that famous communists, some of whom they admire—such as Georges Sorel, Vladimir Lenin, Leon Trotsky, Joseph Stalin, Piatun Kerjentsh, and Bernard Shaw—lavished praise on Benito Mussolini, the Duce of Fascism.
Georges Sorel, in 1921, stated:
"I know a young man, a certain socialist Mussolini, who is the only socialist I know capable of not making mistakes. He will know how to guide his comrades in the right direction and in their interest. He is no less extraordinary than Lenin. He is also a political genius of such dimensions that he surpasses all current politicians, except Lenin. I had already heard of him before the war. He is certainly not a bourgeois socialist. He never believed in parliamentary socialism; he has an extraordinary ability to understand the Italian people and has invented something that is not in my books: the union of nationalism with socialism."
According to Margherita Sarfatti (who was Mussolini’s biographer and lover), Vladimir Lenin complained about Mussolini’s expulsion from the Italian Socialist Party, saying:
"And Mussolini? Why did you lose him? Very bad, very bad. A pity, he was a determined man who would have led you to victory. He would have made a real revolution."
And according to Nicola Bombacci, Lenin said in 1920 at the Kremlin:
"In Italy, comrades, there is only one socialist capable of leading the people to revolution: Benito Mussolini."
Leon Trotsky also lamented Mussolini’s expulsion from the Italian Socialist Party, stating:
"You lost the only serious card, the only man who could have made the revolution seriously."
Joseph Stalin declared:
"With Mussolini’s death, a great political man disappears, who should only be criticized for not having put his opponents against the wall."
Piatun Kerjentsh stated:
"The Russian proletariat must know that Mussolini is a brilliant, strong, skillful man with great tact."
And Bernard Shaw, in the Manchester Guardian on October 13, 1927, wrote:
"Some of the things Mussolini has done and others he threatens to do go further toward socialism than the British Labour Party would dare to do if it came to power. These actions will sooner or later lead Mussolini into a serious conflict with capitalism, and it is certainly not my place nor that of a socialist to weaken him in anticipation of this conflict."
