Comment: Hormesis as a practice is fine, but a person must keep their eye on the object goal. It is importand to do so wether the disciple is emotional, social or physical. We are all raised with pleasure as a reward and as such we come into our own with those pleasure-fulfilment expectations. Fear or witholding of the drug is exercised in order to control us. The worst thing to do is to indulge the desires. You will never become a man that way. If you follow a "fuck hot bitches" life onus you will be hollowed out in later life. The 1000 USD room, and its memory, will not give you comfort. The last twenty years of your life will be spent smiling to convince people you have it made - while hiding a bitterness of soul and a heart full of desperation. Make the right choice. Hormesis is a good start. Yeah, I am THAT old.
