What they show in the picture is not what they put inside the can.

There is about 40% of the filtering medium put in the can with the video, compared to the amount shown in the starter picture....

I'm going to remember this the next time I'm spending $15 on a " premium" oil filter!

Look at the concertinered filtering medium in the opening image, on the far left and then watch from 4:05 and stop it at 5;16,,,,, Huge amounts less of filtering medium.... What they show in the add is not what they put in their product /s. Also why are the dumb cunts painting the face of the oil filter - it should be clean, dry bare steel with a light film of oil... Yeah and make that maybe 25 - 30% of the filtering material in it, as shown in the add.... It's bullshit. Though a bit simplistic - filtering material (complex subject) is there to capture the solids in the oil and fuel etc.. AND simply put, the more filtering material there is, the more contaminants can be captured, before the filter is full (blocked up). So in a basic kind of a way, if a proper filter can capture 10 grams of contaminants above 20 microns in size and the filter and oil needs to be changed every 10,000 Km, then if the bullshit filter has 25% of the filtering material - it takes 2.5 grams of containants to block it up and then once blocked, the contaminants and dirty oil then go through the filter bypass valve to circulate around inside your engine - grinding it away from the inside out and fucking it up.... If you want to cut up a used oil filter with a hack saw - while not very scientific - if the brand your using has lotf of filtering material concertinered into the cannister, where are the Pox Pakistan Filters have got fuck all... then keep using the GOOD brand and fuck off the ripping you off brand.

@bigintol03: You can count the folds in the elements - ~50 in the picture (element far left) and ~20 folds in the video at 5:16. So 20/50 = 40/100 = ~40% of the filtering medium is going into the can, compared to what they are showing in the picture. Scam and Rip Off.
