The irony is that shorter women want even taller men. As a tall man, I like even shorter women. Your best chances are with women who aren't very short, because they are more accustomed to men not being taller than them. Short women experience men only as various degrees of being taller than them.

Western women dislike Asian, Indian, Arab men. It's a blessing, not a curse. Also women don't respect engineers as a rule. To their status-oriented minds, it translates to "high-paid servant". The only titles they respect are executive and management titles, i.e., "I get paid to boss people around". Very primitive stone-age stuff. Never introduce your girl to your boss, it should be obvious why.
