In these Cost of Living problem times I found this. OK it's a women, but I can really relate to her childhood. I was born in the mid 1950's and almost everything she talks of here that she is going back to is also what IO';m going back to - A simpler less confusing life and a very much individual and fruglel one. The only thing I will touch with the word SMART in front of it is ME! I have about 70+ things I do now that my grandparents and their friends did in WW" and aroubd the early 50's as well, and the savings are bringing the money in even for the odd treat or two!
