How YOU Can Regain Motivation When It Seems Hopeless

Today's topic is something somewhat close to me, something that I personally suffer from, from time to time, which is the cycles of life, the ups and downs that we all suffer from, whether you're being successful or not!

Now as people who follow me for a while now, you know me and you know that my motivation level, energy level, bulldog "mindsetness" has gone through phases.

You've seen me running marathons, being lean and shredded, scaling and building businesses, making awesome deals and smashing my goals one after the other, and you've seen me at low energy levels where you're like "John what happened to you man? where is the content that made me fired up and go after my goals in life?"

I'll be straight and honest with you as I am on this channel!

For the couple of weeks, months I wasn't on it as much , I stopped running, I stopped my muay thai, kickboxing classes... after running that crazy marathon with the broken ribs to let my body recover, I still lift and I allowed myself to bulk up a bit.

Some areas of my life improved but in general that motivation and fire that I had by the end of last year has somewhat dimmed down, being somewhat pressed, in a bit of a depression.

Some of you watch my videos and see the kind of stuff I do, running marathons, building businesses, reading books one after the other, etc... and you think to yourself, John I don't know how can I have this bulldog mindset thing everyday?

You feel like you have it, you're motivated and ready to chase all your dreams and goals, you start making progress but then lose it, you lose the mind toughness, you lose the motivation, you lose your streak... and start feeling guilty...

I also understand that this comes in phases and it comes in cycles, so what do I mean by that?

So what do I mean by this? you will have highs and lows, you can't be running at full speed all the time, you might have a good streak of that, but you have to know that at every peak there will be a valley, whenever there are ups there will be downs...

It has to do with you motivation levels as well as happiness levels.

My life is a pretty good life, I'm a multi-millionaire, I have a rocking physic, I'm healthy, I have awesome people in my life, I live next to the beach and pretty much everything I want...

But I still get depressed, because your circumstances in life do not define you happiness level, what will define that is who your are and your fulfillment levels and become free, gaining your freedom, but only to a certain degree.

But this won't save you from the downs and dips, because that's my friends is a part of life itself.

So what's the key to deal with it the best way possible?
