It’s Time to Talk Dating as a Black Woman!

In today’s video I talk about the struggles, both internally and externally, when it comes to dating and falling in love as a Black woman. We have to ask ourselves questions about their intentions, whether we will get rejected and our perceived level of attractiveness based on their perceptions of who we are. I also expand upon some TikTok videos I saw talking about these topics and how growing up, more specifically in white areas, also meant that the dating experience looked completely different. Regardless of their race, how beautiful we are and our level of success, we are always expected to love with everything we have and settle for less than what we deserve because we are not seen as worthy enough of genuine and pure love.
