I have a book - of measurements - made from many ??? guilds and manufacturers and standards, from some 400 or 500 years of history... Jesus fuck.... It is a really interesting read, but there are about 50 ways to describe the weight of steel in a battle ship... and then there are gauges for copper and steel wires - and ALL the manufacturers sizes. Tons of stuff... ALL I can say is thank fuck for METRIC. The 0.0024 mm copper wire - is an 1887 #26 Bell Telegraph electrophone resonator gauge or it's a Canadian Niagra Power and Lighting Standards for Electric and Scientific Meters and Gauges of 1872 - and just a lot of really fucking mental shit like that....

BEWARE of Moldova women. Even though many Moldovans travel to the EU for work via the Romanian cross border travel scheme, the country is still relatively poor. There are some villages where men left completely and kids grow up without fathers because dad is busy working in France or Italy, sending money back to the family monthly. So you may find a 'single woman' but then it turns out she has a kid with living with grandma in a village and a husband breaking his back in Italy.
