I share my late father's attitude when he found out he had colon cancer. He sneaked out of his examination room, wearing his hospital gown. Called my younger brother to pick him up down in the lobby, and got away before the doctor who wanted to cut him open, realized what happened. He called the doctor once he got home, so he wouldn't worry about his whereabouts. With some exceptions, hospitals are death traps where they milk you of whatever money you have left, before you croak. JMO
