Well the title was completely made up, because I could not think of anything ...... at all. I was wondering why I have never seen anything on this subject - having researched millipedes and centipedes and never having seen one 8 foots long - EVER.... and I was wondering if they were CGI or animated models..... AND while reality is really is trippy - so some times, it pays to do ones research - at a very superficial level, "Are these real?" - is a fair question. I thought that all the super huge insects went extince 230 million years ago - like way before the dinosaurs.... And the second one seemed rather stiff - the whole body steered sidwards, when all the centipedes and millipedes can do a fair imitation of a pretzel. And the first one walking with a hump in the body - millipedes and centipedes don't walk with a stiff hump in them....

And if they are working models - like radio controlled.... it's both simple to do, but it's complex in the algorythm for the leg movements and movement timing etc., expecially the sidewards movements like in the second one.... It's not THAT hard... I can see the coding to do it... but unless there is a good reason or purpose, most people would not do such a project.
