Indian customs busts woman smuggling 22 snakes onto plane
Indian customs managed to foil a plot to smuggle 22 snakes on a plane. The long bois were found in the check-luggage of a woman arriving in Chennai from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. While it would have been hilarious had she been discovered because of some unusually long baggage, the snakes were actually found coiled up inside various plastic containers. The snakes were seized under the Wildlife Protection Act, although only after briefly escaping and slithering around the airport.
