Iran conducts extensive air drills as tensions rise

As tensions between Iran and Israel, Iran and Pakistan, Iran and the US and more escalate, the Iranian Air Force held extensive drills. The air defense drills, codenamed ‘The Defenders of the Velayat Skies 1402,’ were conducted out of a top secret, expertly camouflaged base by top secret, expertly camouflaged officials. The drills, a regular feature of Iranian military preparedness, are designed to both test and showcase Iran’s military advances, and peacefully deter aggression towards Iran. However, the timing is unlikely to deescalate anything at all.
