Your sound is in need of improvement - the echo in the room is appalling...
The input level is OK....
Go to the charity shop and pick up some thick blankets and sheets, one of which is brightly coloured - sort of not dazzling, but very very light in colour....
So it's not dark and soaking up light...... it sort of evens out and is not distracting.
A few blankets and quilty sorts of shit, will soak up the reverberation - you don't need a dead space, but that resonance needs to be quenched.
A whole heap behind you and maybe to each side as well..
