Many children, some as young as five, work alongside adults or with other kids at Ghazipur, Asia’s biggest landfill site just outside New Delhi, as India struggles with a plastic waste crisis.

When Americans study America, it is studied from "top to bottom" from State structure, Constitution, Bill Of Rights, Foundation, and Civil War/Declaration Of Independence. Then move on to contemporary social issues, i.e. immigration, economy, politics.
When Americans study India, they do it from "bottom to top". The exact opposite way; issues like sanitation, caste system; ascribing these phenomenon as a feature of Indian culture.
Flaws in Western society are considered features of Indian society, governance, and culture.
Sounds like India and the Indian's should do something about it.
This is the scum that is invading our cities. This is what your neighbourhood will look like in 10 years.
