Following mass drought, Italy’s largest lake Garda has reached its lowest level since 1953, raising concerns for the upcoming summer season. Last year’s drought in the region, as well as low rainfall in winter and Alpine snowfall across northern Italy, were not enough to replenish the lake, and its water level now stands at a mere 53.1 centimeters.

Another year or two and it will probably be flooding like fuck and people will be shitting bricks about the impending dam wall failure and washing away the city down stream.... Found the dam wall... 45°23'38.58" N 10°42'42.13" E Look up "Diga De Salionze" --- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lake_Garda Average depth 136 m (446 ft) Max. depth 346 m (1,135 ft) --- the report is bullshit... AS IN falling off the continental shelf deep.... Most places you might go off shore and it's say 50 to 80 meters deep.... and around 15 or 20 or 50 Km out, the bottom just falls away to 2000 or 3000 meters deep.... well that is the edge of thecontninental shelf..... That lake has the colours of some shallows and then it falls into a crevass - of great depth....
