yea, this seems about right... the so called legal system was setup not for the people but for the gov./politico's...
the original court system (if you have to call it a system) was the judge, elected by the people and they knew who the guy was personally and his background...
then it was the cop/rep. vs the defendant, no secrets everyone knew everyone else, no surprises, no idiotic no gun policies (specially since the court house belongs to the people and not to the politicians) and anyone could sit in on any case.
course that was way before even my parents where an itch in their parents relationship...
