Living in NYC Just Got Worse… For Everyone

the cause of this is a long time coming, and i fully expect people to just move out of these buildings and to instead make payments for a Uhaul and live in that instead, i guy from roughly a decade ago did this very thing, he was in massive debt and living in commifornia, of course this was mostly before cali went full blown commie, but rent was crazy high and the dude worked full time for Ebay of all places and was sick of his money going to waste and sick of being in debt.

so he came up with a plan to make payments on a uhaul truck that had a refrigerator and built in insulation then got some solar panels attached to the truck and parked his truck in the same parking lot he worked at, long story short, the dude significantly reduced his cost of living, i mean before he was spending thousands of dollars on his rent alone to this only paying maybe a few hundred dollars a month on his living expenses, he explained that he was living like a king because suddenly he could afford to go to the movies or eat out.

most of his shower and clothing needs were facilitated via his work as they built in all that stuff so he showered daily and washed his clothing at work, now he did have to shit in a comode that he made himself every once in a while in his uhaul truck and had to throw away his waste in a trashcan, but it is what it is.

the point of this story is you might have to get creative while living in NYC, but understand this is due to the people you voted for for decades on end to get to this point, so this is due to consequences of voting blue no matter who.
