Both of you guys are right. The proper standards of marriage must be upheld for it to be a functional arrangement. Marriage at its roots is a religious concept and the rules that were laid out had reasons behind them that become clearer everyday as we witness what women do with so called equal rights to men. It was never meant to be this way. Martin on the other hand is also right, because of the factors in play, the overwhelming majority of women in the west are contaminated and are really not suitable or deserving of the title of wife. The proposition men are left with is essentially to marry a whore. The legal system needs to be completely revamped surrounding marriage and divorce. Women are allowed to break the marriage contract as they see fit and still rob men blind. The link in the chain has been broken, in my view the fate of situation is sealed and the population will shrink because too many living women have missed the window for reproduction. There really is no solution at this point. The whores will have to pass on, many men will remain childless as well with no prospects for a long term relationship. At this point we can only hope that the new smaller population down the line will be of better quality, but even this looks grim because as aquirezeal points out, the data shows the system and women both select for dysgenic traits and the people reproducing are of poor quality, spiteful mutants. Women are choosing for people that are high in mutational load both mentally and physically, they even proved this by examining genetic markers for diseases and mental illness.
