It's the circuit that you use, for a mains powered bug zapper, but with high voltage diodes and capacitors, with a LARGE faradic capacity - If the store bought bug zappers are whispy and gutless, make another voltage multiplier, with say 10,000V and a shit load of capacitance, instead of the poxy 2000V circuits with tiny capacitors. Be sure to use all high voltage protocols and add a mains off switch and a 4 or 5 x 2 megaohm bleeder resistors in series as a manual discharge circuit.... ALSO consult with high voltage experts on circuit design and layout, and protective distances and coverings / encasements, insulation, leads, isolation etc... This is moving well past the bread making smoke in the toaster type problems....
