Mali pursuing new security partnership following French troop withdrawal

Multipolarity is on the rise, it appears, after Iran and Mali agreed to boost economic and defense ties during a trip to Africa by the Islamic Republic’s foreign minister. Meanwhile, Western countries are reducing their support for Africa, with France recently withdrawing from Mali.
