He didn't send me a topic so I thought I'd cover a topic that was inspired by a video I recently saw on the Mr. MGTOW YouTube channel. I put a link to it in the description. So you guys can watch it for yourselves. As the title suggests it's of a man rejecting a marriage proposal and it's huge one. He's in a soccer or football stadium depending on where you are in the world and his supposedly future bride to be is down on one knee and the theme song to Titanic is playing in the background. There are thousands of people watching in the stadium and possibly millions in the rest of the world and you see the guy standing there like a lump on a log thinking about the proposal and everyone expects him to say yes, why wouldn't he. But suddenly he comes to his senses and runs away from her. Run forest run. She of course is embarrassed in front of potentially millions of people and who knows what sort of social damage his rejection will do for her for the rest of her life. People will think there's something wrong with her because a man publically humiliated her by choosing not to marry her. I myself have been proposed to by a woman almost fifteen years ago now. I'll tell you all about it in just a sec but let me first tell everyone about today's sponsor X-Wolf Booster: Anyways, now back with the show. So when I was 24 years of age I was having some trouble with my relationship. I wanted things to be equal with my partner. I wanted both of us to choose how we would spend our free time every other weekend. But over time she made more and more of the decisions and I became increasingly resentful. I wanted us to clean up the backyard in the house we were renting so it would be livable yet she didn't want to put the effort into that. She was a low maintenance type of gal and I occasionally wanted her to dress up and be more feminine. Not very often, maybe once every month or two yet she didn't want to do that for me. All of this was eating away at my subconscious and I was psychologically suffering quite a bit. I was getting panic attacks and while she was supportive for the first one she wasn't for the second and third and went off to hang out with her friends while I was suffering at home all medicated in bed. I wanted to talk to her about our relationship and felt like I had some things to say. When I brought up my concerns her first course of action wasn't really to deal with my complaints but instead it was to ask for my handsome hand in marriage. This obviously wasn't coming from a place of love. This was coming from a place of fear.
