Man tries to stop son’s arrest using an excavator
A Vermont man is facing charges including reckless endangerment and assault after attempting to stop state troopers arresting his son.
Brandon Tallman, 24, was being detained on earlier burglary and assault charges, when his dad decided to step in. It just so happened that Wayne Tallman had his trusty excavator by his side, and decided to start practicing his aim.
Dashcam footage shows the arm of the digger flailing around, presumably looking to scoop up the pesky officers, causing a few near misses in the process. However, this stops when one of the officers points a gun at the operator. The police report would later clarify that Tallman had ‘recklessly maneuvered the bucket near the troopers,’ and we can’t have that.

He can cut your body in half just as fast as you can shoot him! And if that first bullet isn't a kill shot, game over Barney Fife!
