Massive inferno engulfs main fuel depot in Guinea after explosion

An explosion and inferno at Guinea’s main fuel depot in the capital of Conakry left several people dead or injured, as emergency services struggled to put out the fire, authorities and local media reported.

It was not immediately clear what caused the explosion at the depot, which supplies most of the fuel in Guinea, and has subsequently raised fears of a major supply disruption.
