Hey everybody welcome to another episode of memes of the week. The best thing you can do for this channel is smash the like button like it's your Alabama cousin so that it reaches a wider audience. Also before I get on with the memes first a word from today's sponsor Me The Sandman:

@05:50 I cannot dance, I can only mosh. But even I could beat her at that competition easily!
No - you got the jumping out of BIG jet boats wrong.
These are BIG boats that carry a lot of people, and the water speed from the axial jet pump, can be quite large in diamater and the water can be travelling at very high speed and pressure...
For instance, that boat out in the ocean - the width of the wake is say 8 to 10 meters, and the spray adds a couple of meters extra to the width, and at a guess, BIG jet boats tend to be say 5 x as long (at least) as they are wide, so the boat is say 50 meters long....

It's not the jumping out of the boat into the water that the boat is travelling over - other wise every time a water skier fell off, they would die or badly injure themselves - it's the ones who jump off = vertical acceleration component + diving into the extremely FAST jet of water from the jet pump - doing I don't know..... 200 - 300 Kmh - it's hooking into that flow, that going from a boat doing 70 Kmh, and going vertically into the water doing 50 - 80 KMh - and hitting the output of the jet pump, doing 200 or 300 KMh - that snaps your neck...
I could look it all up and get the range of figures...
This also applies to jumping into the wake of the conventional propellor....
But not so merely jumping out of a regular speed, ski boat etc., won't kill you or injure you.
