was recording at 1am so intentionally lowered my voice in order to not wake anyone up. will increase it back to normal in the future

Clipping referse to the paper cone and it's electromagnetic windings , in a speaker, pushing or pulling very hard, so it no longer runs in a smooth sinusidal way, like the sound wave is if replicating, but it slams fully open and or fully closed.... Sort of like swinging a house door mostly open and mostly closed... as opposed to slamming it shut- Clipping can be very damaging to speakers and it makes for a very bad sound.... A tiny bit does not hurt - but a LOT of too much signal and a lot of HARD clipping is very bad for speakers... @Igor MGTOW And Video Games: You can sit very close to the mocrophone with it slightly to one side so you don't get breath popping and you can vary your input levels as you record, or amplify them afterwards.... I think Audacity has both...

i was recording it at like 1 am so i was a bit quieter to make sure i didnt wake anyone up, in the future i will get closer or modify the volume levels in my video editing software to be higher.
