I choose carefully and have few I call friend trust must be earned.
In my experience friends come and go. I'm very picky on who I call a friend. I know and chat with many people however I only have one person I consider a friend (and that has changed since he found a woman). Most people I label as associates, I might chat with them but that's as far as that goes. Too many people view friends as a utility.
