I have been a Windows 10 user from 2015 to early 2023, however since using Windows 11 i have started to think its the best version of windows, atleast for me, here is why.

Windows 11 is eh. I still prefer Windows 10, as it's more easily mod it (to restore Aero Glass, in my case), as well as less telemetry to disable. Not to mention Windows 11's ATROCIOUS system requirements!

Good video but allow me to provide a different point of view. The reasons why I think Win 7 is better:

It is visually more appealing, particularly due to the Aero interface;
The position of the "Start" button, which is in the corner and not in the middle of the screen. I find this intrusive.

But my main problem with Win 11 has to do with privacy concerns. These include:
No spyware in the name of Cortana (yes, I know you can disable it);
Almost being forced to use an MS account;
Enabling OneDrive by default;
Windows 11 collects extensive telemetry without consent;
After every update being asked if you want to allow things like geotracking;
Including ads that spy on you.

There are likely more but that's all I can think of. This is why I now use linux for anything other than gaming.

I understand. Though Cortana is nowhere to be seen in Windows 11, perhaps you meant copilot or something. Also I didn’t experience windows demanding I enable geotracking after every update but maybe I was lucky.

What distro are using? I am looking at Fedora with eTouch ap for a touchscreen netbook; I've been leaning towards Open SUSE... I had a SUSE powerful desktop, but alas it was fried in a thunderstorm along with two kr three of my battery backups...

Hmmmmm. This comment inspired me. I'm now going to try and make a custom Windows 10 ISO with all the telemetry and cloud bullshit stripped from it, and as many old Windows Vista and Windows 7 UI elements added back into it (Windows Vista Beta 1 Aero Glass, Windows Vista and 7 Wallpapers, Vista/7 soundschemes, etc.)

I have a Win11 laptop and I have not gave it an email address by using it offline like you suggested, but I rarely use it.

Finally, I don't know if you know this, but AI is here to help the NSA and Deep State spy on you, rather us more efficiently.

Win10 tries to migrate your personal files onto the web so Microshaft can search and spy on you; Win11 is a step closer to everything in the cloud online with dumb console or interface terminal. Remember that recent cloud flare outtage? The airlines that remained operational were still running on Win98... that explains everything. Now, I will admit Win11 has programs easier and more stream lined for editing and posting videos.

the crowdstrike outage, as far as i understand it it was due to faulty driver from crowdstrike themselves and not due to microsoft but yeah more needs to be done to prevent this from happening.

@Igor MGTOW And Video Games: I think it's both Microshaft and Crowdstrike. According to former network engineer Joker from Better Bachelor, a "good" network engineer or nerd would have tested the update multiple times before applying it especially widespread adoption.

Hmmm... now that I think about I still have one or two windows 98 computers... need a new circuit board? Er MB? It does not turn on and I replaced the power supply... but it didn't turn on. I pray I bought ten or eleven bitcoin when it came out for ten cents... now, that would be awesome to become an actual bitcoin millionaire..
