She blames the rich when many studies have shown that poor people often suffer from lack of impulse control and the ability to delay gratification. They also tend to not think about the consequences for their actions.

Poor people tend to be fat, is this due to not having the money to eat well or are they just unable to resist the big mac, fries, and soda? I would argue that a microwaved baked potato and a glass of milk is cheaper than fast food and faster, they are just unable to control the urge to eat junk food.

She also does not define poverty; the poorest person today has access to many things that the richest person in the 1700’s was unable to have, things such as cell phones, airplane travel, cars, bicycles, antibiotics etc. I would argue that the poorest person in Scottland is wealthier than the richest king of the 1700's.

Feminists and communists are not looking for wealth they are just trying to drag down those that have more then them due to jealousy. There have been studies that show that people are most happy when the live in neighborhoods with people of a similar income level. By mixing poor and rich people in the same neighborhoods jealousy is created and people with lower income become unhappy even if all of their needs are being met.

Giving people things that they do not earn does not help them. It often makes them bad owners of what they are given. A boy who works and saves to pay for a car treats it like a prize even if it is a piece of junk. A rich man’s son who is given a car often treats it like junk even if it is worth a house.

Len also thinks that you have to go to school to receive an education. Schools are more for social status and indoctrination than education. Read, study, and educate yourself. There have been many dropouts that have made millions.

Don’t go into debt for any reason and quit the jobs that don’t pay enough. If an employer is not willing to pay much it is because there are many other people who will work that job for that amount of money. It is called supply and demand and is basic economics. If you are poor, delay gratification, and think about the consequences to your actions, check out a book at the local library, read, and educate yourself.
