In today's world the perfect disguise is being a female. Hiding in plain sight.
Always mental problems and social pressures with them. Men: just bad.
Kudos to the police for not giving up on cold cases . they must have a data base of unsolved crimes related DNA . they probably run it thru the "ancestry DNA " data bases on a regular basis . she probably got caught because one of her relatives sent in some DNA looking for a rich uncle or something like that.
