Mourners gather to pay respects for earthquake victims in Türkiye’s Gaziantep

Mourners have gathered en masse in Gaziantep, Türkiye outside a mosque to pay their respects for the victims of Monday's two devastating earthquakes. Earlier in the day, Turkish President Erdogan announced that the number of victims surpassed 16,000. The WHO meanwhile has warned that the death toll from both Syria and Türkiye could reach 20,000.
