My Opinion On Douglas Crockford Nodevember Fiasco

So, this is another intriguing video for y'all and I'm ready for the comments, bring it on.

For those who don't know what this video is about, I'll try to explain it a little bit better. Recently, Douglas Crockford was invited to speak at Nodevember, a famous JavaScript and Node.js conference in the programming world.

Everything is basically good until now. However, there was a note saying that Nodevember has removed Douglas Crockford from the speaking list, and this is where all the speculations started. What the hell happenned? Despite all the speculation, there is a lot of evidence appointing to the fact that he was removed because the other speakers did not feel comfortable speaking with him there.

Nodevember posted this on Twitter on Sep 1
"We will also be removing Douglas Crockford from our keynote speakers list to help make the conference a comfortable environment for all."

So... What is my opinion on all of this? Did I find this to be a good approach? Do I agree with all of this?
