Nazi supporters in the West try to denigrate heroic songs – Wang Feng, Chinese opera singer

A renowned Chinese opera singer, Wang Fang, has stirred controversy by performing the famous folk song 'Katyusha' in the Russian city of Mariupol, leading to an outcry from the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry. Social media posts documenting her visit quickly caught the attention of prominent Chinese bloggers, some of whom even ventured into the military zone themselves. Kiev swiftly condemned the performance as a ‘moral degradation’ and formally lodged a complaint with Beijing, seeking an explanation for the presence of Chinese nationals in Mariupol.

RT had a chance to speak to Wang Fang herself, and she told us her performance was a relief for the Mariupol population after experiencing numerous Ukrainian atrocities.
