Some very specific gripes. I have no trouble navigating BoA website, but I frickin' detest Chase. BoA's chatbot is a retarded idea to, but everyone wants to automate now, even for CS, and you can't seem to get a person without going through a robot first, even when it's for a very particular reason and not just to pay a bill or check a balance.
Good point about corporations pushing their service job duties onto customers and selling is as a benefit. It really took off with the internet and smart phones. They pass it off as the consumer having so much control and ability to get things done faster when all it means is a big reduction in employees to pay.
They do this to their own employees as well. I once worked for one and spent 30% of the time doing all my own HR, payroll and IT because the few employees they still had in those departments were either overworked or didn't care depending on how woke they were. Then they complained about all the overtime it took.
I'm not sure but I think the welfare checks come out at the end of the month. So that might be what happened. I absolutely hate going to a bank branch. Credit unions were even worse. Lot of low IQ, low class people cashing their gibsmedat checks or whatever it is they were doing. Bank of America is terrible. I agree. Trying to anything outside of an ATM transaction is a nightmare and requires multiple visits. It took me three trips to a bank branch once to close a fucking account!
Those low IQ people are everywhere, man. My phone and internet forces me to deal with people that have such thick blaccents that I cam barely unna-stan a word comig from they mouf.
