for me it's even simpler than that. I can count on one hand how many women have seriously helped me out in dire need. I sure won't wife 'em up nor lend money (I'm wholly against usury), but otherwise I'll repay my help if they really need it (haven't so far). Same goes for men, although that pool is obviously a lot larger.
