None Can Beat US Darkstar with Gerald Ford Aircraft Carrier!
The main task of an aircraft carrier is to accommodate and enable the takeoff and landing of helicopters and other aircraft. Since the first aircraft carrier was built, aircraft have undergone extensive modernization and design changes. Aircraft carriers have evolved to meet new aspects of their operations and have now reached the peak of sophistication with the use of sixth-generation aircraft and artificial intelligence-controlled drones.
There are many variations to aircraft carriers primarily differentiated by their sizes and the aircraft they can support. For example, the massive Nimitz-class carriers of the U.S. Navy displace about 100,000 tonnes and stretch over 1082ft with an angled flight deck providing ample space for diverse aircraft types. On the other hand, the smallest aircraft carrier built, the HTMS Chakri Naruebet, is a mere 597ft long, displaces 11 500 tons, and is fitted with an aircraft ski jump to make up for its short launch runway. It's practically half the size of the Nimitz class carriers.
