When I was a School when I was a bout 12 onwards the School Library had piles of NAT GEO mag's most on Egypt and Pyramid's, Valley of the kings etc. It fascinated me like this video is right now.

Seeing those Steamers and hearing about "Kush" is ironic, because I was watching a video about the Kush area yesterday and I watched David Suchet's Poirot "Death on the Nile last night which had one of these imperial steamers in it! And this vid taught me where the "Whirling Dervish" came from as well, great stuff.

There was a time in History way back when Sudan, Ethiopia, Nubia and other places as far as it goes for advance civilization's were "The Dog's Bollocks" for quite a long time, but because it was all Pre "Christian" they got either forgotten or labelled primitive.
