Officers brave flash flood to rescue family
As a freak tropical rainstorm battered the dried up, burn scarred south California soil, flash floods swept across several towns and villages. In one town in the San Bernadino Mountains, the flood water turned into a torrent, washing down the road with such ferocity that few could withstand it.
Such was the case for a mother and her two children, who came close to drowning in the flash flood that had engulfed their town, until a group of fearless police officers braved the flood to rescue them. This is the bodycam footage they released of the spectacular rescue.
