On Alpha Males

Generally, you cannot BECOME an alpha male. If Nature did not see it fit to make you an alpha male through the genetic lottery, you can never be one.

Here's a good definition of the terms:
alpha male: Sexually attractive to the majority of women. Women want to have sex with them irrespective of whether they have any money/status/resources/other non-sexual-utility.

Beta Male: Not sexually attractive to the majority of women. Women may have sex with them to gain access to their money/status/resources/other non-sexual-utility, but otherwise have no interest in them.

That's a general explanation of the situation. As even alpha males age and get older and get grays and wrinkles, they may become Beta Males with time. Also, theoretically, if a Beta Male got hold of a lotta money early enough in life, he could have a lot of plastic surgery performed on him to where he transformed into an alpha male (I might be tempted to argue that money would've been better-spent sex-touring for years, but oh well).
