Paris pension protest ends up in chaos and clashes

About 200 protests reportedly took place in France as workers denounced proposals to raise the retirement age from 62 to 64. The country’s capital was engulfed with one of the largest actions, with traffic apparently blocked near focal point Place De La Republique. Protesters clashed with Paris police attempting to disperse the crowds.
