Participation Trophies Devalue Earned Trophies

Same thing is true in the military. Women are openly the recipients of prejudice and lower standards and everybody knows it. From lower fitness requirements to greater latitude in dress and grooming, to "failing up" into positions of authority because "I'd like a woman in that important position" and other such practices. Not one woman in uniform ever objects to this, but they commonly complain "I don't get the same respect as my male co-workers."
