See soil types can vary tremendously - and just in looking it it, I thought, engage 4 wheel drive, shift into second gear and go at it doing 25 Kmh and just power on up it flat out, and go over the top...

But where I live the flood ways / valley floor clays when damp enough, they become extremely greasy and the vehicle will slide ways off the road on a 2* Degree side slope - easy.

I figured out how to climb that slope, just by looking at it...

BUT I didn't know what that soil type was like AND how damp it actually was, and since there is a compound slope, of up hill and down hill and a bit of sidewards slope AND a few lumps and bumps going up - ADDED to the fact that IF the vehicle starts to slide and bounce etc., and rolls off diagonally etc., there is almost no room to get out and or regain control and prevent the vehicle from rolling off down the mountain side.

You was there, I wasn't, you know what the clays were like, I didn't... You know what the 4WD and it's grip, tyres and steering is like - I don't...

But to me, going up over that steep rise with no room to recover, before rolling off down the side of the mountain, that had me really spooked, and I think it's getting into very dangerous territory.

I think she was smart enough to get out and then stand well clear.....

Yeah I kind of like the idea of "plenty of room for recovery" - in case things don't go as I hoped they would go.

That slope.... I would have gotten out and walked around on the flat road and met you on the other side too.

After grabbing a bag with a tent, food, water, a powerful hand gun, matches and a torch...

Just in case you decided to head down the side of the mountain with it, and I had to walk home.
